Skate
on Daley Bicentennial Plaza
Bicentennial Plaza, 370 E. Randolph, Chicago It's getting cold and the flakes are starting to fly and the ice is getting hard, so it's time for the return of Skate on State. But seeing as Skate on State opens Dec. 15, we'll do Skate at Daley Bicentennial Plaza (doesn't have the same ring, but oh well). Afterwards we will dine at the Berghoff or someplace else if someone wants to make a suggestion To get to Bicentennial Plaza,
take Lakeshore Drive to Randolph and head west a couple blocks. There
is street parking in the area. For more info, please email or call
Evar
Strid at (773) 274-6763, or Steve
Cain at (773) 772-8521.

High Tea
Drake Hotel, 140 East Walton Street, Chicago If you’ve never experienced
the elegance of High Tea, you’ve been missing one of Chicago’s most treasured
traditions. Finger sandwiches, petit-fours, the hustle and bustle
of holiday shopping will add to the festive atmosphere. Remember
to put on your Sunday best. . . and hold those pinkies high!

Saturdays 9:00 am and Tuesdays 6:30 pm |
Frontrunners/Frontwalkers/Frontbrunchers
Totem Pole, Addison/Lakefront, Chicago Get out of the house and join our friends for a 15-mile run, a 3-mile walk, or something in between. The group gathers back at the Totem Pole before heading to a neighborhood place for breakfast on Saturdays and dinner on Tuesdays. This is a great way to keep those calves and thighs toned during the winter months. |

Big Chicks, 5024 North Sheridan Road, Chicago What better way to spend Sunday afternoons than with good company, good drink (vodka lemonades recommended) and delicious (FREE!) food... remember to thank owner Michelle Fire for supporting the WCCC. |
