Hyde Park Ride
Totem Pole, end of Addison Ave. (10:00am)
Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park (10:40am)

Meet at 10 a.m. at the Totem Pole in Lincoln Park, (end of Addison Avenue.) The riders generally head south along the lakefront to the east side of Lakeshore Drive at Buckingham Fountain where they will meet up with the "Southerners" at about 10:40 a.m. Then the ride continues south, following the bike path all the way to Hyde Park for a breakfast stop before returning to Lincoln Park. This is a leisurely 30-mile round-trip ride for bikers at all levels and generally takes 45 minutes each way, not including breakfast stop. Meet us at the Totem pole, It's a great way to check out the club.

The last official ride of the 2000 season is October 14th.  Post-season rides on the 21st and 28th, weather permitting.

Fright Fest at Great America
Great America Theme Park, Gurnee, IL

Join us on Saturday, October 28th for an excursion up to Six Flags Great America for Fright Fest! They’ve transformed the park from cutesy-poo stuffed cartoon animals into a horror-house (that’s HORROR) of ghosts, ghouls, and red skeletons.  The rides will be operating as usual plus some extra Halloween attractions. The admission price is a whopping $42.99, but discount tickets are available
at Dominick’s for $30.89.

Tom Hedeen will coordinate drivers and riders up to Gurnee.  Email or call Tom Hedeen at (773)- 944-9449 if you'll be going or can volunteer to drive.
